We will return to the US for a 10 month furlough beginning in September of 2010. If you would like for us to share in your church, Bible study group, in your home about our ministry in Brazil, please contact us. Also, by September we should have DVD's of our ministry presentation ready to send to you via US Postal service if you would like to have one.
We have two needs for our furlough time, can you help? 1) We will need dependable vehicle to use, preferably a mini-van. 2) We will be needing a place to stay, preferably in the Northern Indiana area.

Extra Traveling
September 14th, 2009 -
Please pray for us over the next few months in respect to safety on the roads. I have been placed in charge of over seeing the replacement of our missions guest house and its remodeling. This replacement facility is about 2 1/2 hours from where we live. I have had to travel there weekly for the past month and will need to continue this oversight work for at least the next month or two. This kind of travel and oversight, which is on top of our normal ministry, can be a heavy load at times. We appreciate your prayers.

Rains/Flooding/Ministry
May 17th, 2009 -
Please be in prayer for the more then 1000 people displaced in our town due to the flooding. Our church has been distributing clothes, food and holding special services at the seven local schools that are housing these families. Pray that many would see their need for a Savior and put their trust in Jesus.

Special Monthly Outreaches
December 3rd, 2008 -
We have been trying to hold monthly evangelistic outreaches which involve either films, preaching, music or a combination of the three. Our desire is to reach out into other parts of the city where we have contacts, to try to develop Bible study groups. We held two of these events in November, one in December and have plans to hold others in the future. Pray for the fruits of these labors.
We praise the Lord for three young men who accepted the Lord in the past months and followed the Lord in believers baptism on March 2, 2008.
