1) Praise the Lord for an apartment and nearby parking spot to rent.
2) Please pray as our church chior presents "Ten Thousand Hallelujahs" in three different locations over the next two weeks.
3) Pray for this time of adaptation for me to a new culture, climate, and home.
4) Continue to pray for Andressa to grow in the Lord and choose each day to follow Him.

Praise the Lord for this time visiting the ministry in Southern Brazil.
Please pray that I and the leadership of the mission would have wisdom in knowign the Lord will and direction concerning my future minsitry.
Please pray for the church in Campo Bom, the new evangelistic outreach to Mirasol beginning Sept. 18 with hopes of becoming a second new church, and the third church plant in Estância Velha.
Especially pray for the outreach in Mirasol in September. They are hoping and praying to be able to use the public school in the Vila to meet. Schools typically are not open for churches to use here in the South. Please pray the director would be willing to allow them to use the school and several classrooms to divide up and teach different age groups.

Last Survey Trip

Please pray as I visit the field in Rio Grande do Sul. This is my last survey trip before making a final decision about where I will be serving long term.
Also pray for Geisa and Meri who will hear the gospel clearly presented at a drama Thursday, August 13. Pray the Holy Spirit would be workign in their hearts.

I am a week early but I thought now is a good time to get these posted so you can start praying. This week and next we are focusing on getting our first real transfer from the mission in the US to the mission account in Brazil. If you want more details on why this is quite a task email me at elliebgfm@sbcglobal.net and I will explain. Anyway, Please pray all will go smoothly and quicky to enable us to disburse the funds to the missionaries and pastors waiting for the donations.
Big event number 2 of August...
Visiting Southern Brazil from August 15- September 17. Please pray for safety and the Lord's direction. We are only about a month away of knowing where I will be serving long term. I thought it would get easier as I get closer to the date, but I am actually needing prayer for PATIENCE as I wait the Lord's timing and direction.
I hope to keep posted as things develope over the next few weeks using the "News" tab like a blog with short updates and pictures.

Please pray for the seeds of the gospel that are being planted in Jardim Petrópolis, Maceió to bear fruit. Saturday May 16 we had a mother daughter tea. May 19-23 we are having a 5 Day club. Pray for the 35 plus kids and teens who have heard the gospel this week. I will be in Maceió with the Anderson family until June 1. Also pray for safety on the bus and plane as I return to Fortaleza June 1. thank you so much for your prayers.

Travels
April 21st, 2009 -
Please pray as I travel to Fortaleza, Brazil this evening. Also continue to pray while I get settled back in and spend May with Dan and Linda Anderson in Maceió, Brazil. We are hoping to have a kids club (like a Vacation Bible School) for a few days while I am there. Pray the children would be open to the gospel and that we as leaders would be prepared and yielded to the Holy Spirit.

1. Pray for safety as I travel with my parents to South Dakota for the funeral of Joe Charles Jan. 10-15.
2. Also pray for doors to open as I schedule a trip to the mid-west in February and March.
3. That the Lord would care for the final details allowing me to return to Brazil in April 2009.

5. Most importantly, that I would be seeking the Lord first above all else
